Rove & Gild became the definition of our obsession. For us, the best moments are spent searching, and the even better moments are spent transforming.
Seeing art in everything is brilliant because the possibilities can go as far as the wildest imagination. Beauty now becomes a story told by a forgotten item reinvented. Nothing is off-limits. Old and derelict is now the proffered challenge. It is the glass slipper of junking. Show us a tortured piece of furniture, and we’ll show you a “happy ever after.”
We live for the hunt. Rove & Gild is a lifestyle that begs to be told,
“you can’t do that,” because the fulfillment follows with a confident, “watch me!”
We will find it, rebuild it and gild it all with the express idea of mixing what shouldn’t mix or bringing back to life what was thought to be dead.
